Based on Hatha Yoga, Forrest Yoga was created by Ana T. Forrest an American Yogini. It is known for its emphasis on abdominal core work, long holding of positions, attention to breath and a specific intent for each class. Not only is Forrest Yoga a physical experience it is also a mental workout. This practice encourages and challenges students to access their whole being. Through practicing Forrest Yoga you cultivate a deeper awareness of self.
